World of Warcraft Gold Guide

One of the key tools for any WoW player is a top-end World of Warcraft gold guide. Why? Because getting enough gold is key to succeeding in the game, and you need a gold guide to get large quantities of gold in any reasonable amount of time. If you don’t believe me, think about this: with the right guidance, your gold farming efforts can bring you 100 to 200 gold an hour. On average. I doubt you are making anywhere close to that now.

So how do you choose the right World of Warcraft gold guide? While the decision is as much emotional as anything else, you can look for a few things. Here are 5 things to look for in a quality gold guide:

1. It gives you more than one way to get the job done.

Things are always changing in the World of Warcraft. Rich sources of gold get nerfed and become useless. Servers get crowded and you can’t get to your favorite farming area. If you’re going to be successful farming gold over time, you need to be able to switch gears when things change. A quality World of Warcraft gold guide will give you workable alternatives, instead of just one super-secret location or technique that could become useless anything changes.

2. It gets you building wealth early.

The best World of Warcraft Gold Guides show you the best ways to get gold whatever level you are at, even when your character is weak and nearly helpless. Many guides concentrate on instructions for farming gold at higher levels, and leave you to your own devices early on. You need access to significant amounts of gold from the very beginning if claw your way to the top of the pile in this world, and a good gold guide will show you how to gather that gold reserve right away.

3. It teaches you to be take a flexible and creative approach to gold farming.

This goes hand in hand with item 1. To really do well as a gold farmer, you need to be flexible and creative enough to deal with the unexpected and to come up with unique approaches to getting gold. To many things can come up that leave the tried and true approaches to farming unprofitable. You’ll never get ahead of the pack if you always follow the same path as everyone else.

4. It gets you to the good parts of the game fast.

A quality World of Warcraft Gold Guide not only gets you gold faster, it lets you get to the really cool parts of the game faster. Without enough gold early on, you’ll have trouble affording the gear and mounts you need to even get to the best parts of the game, much less compete there. Just as in real life, having access to lots of money can make other good things happen.

5. It makes gold farming fun.

There’s a danger of boredom in WoW. This is a particular risk if you follow the same routine all the time. If you do, you’re eventually going to get bored and stop playing. Because a top-quality gold guide can show you many different ways to accumulate gold, you can mix things up to keep from getting bored by the monotony of running the same routine over and over.

Can you see why World of Warcraft gold guides are so popular? And with the way things change, can you see why there are always new guides coming out? It’s too bad there wasn’t a guide that kept you constantly up to date…

World or Warcraft Basic Guide

World of Warcraft or WoW as it is more commonly known, is a MMORPG which is an acronym for “Massively Multi player On-line Role-Playing Game”. In an MMORPG, thousands of players from all around the World exist in the same on-line game world at the same time. They abandon the real world and undertake heroic quests in a land of fantastic adventures.

In the game there are two opposing races at war with each other: the Alliance and the Horde. When you have decided which side to play there are nine classes of character to choose from: Shaman, Warlock, Warrior, Druid, Hunter, Death Knight, Mage, Paladin, Priest and Rogue. They all have their individual set of skills and depending on the class of character that you build, your character’s talent trees are for damage-per-second (DPS), tanking, or healing.

There are thousands of quests to complete with many different kinds of weapons and transportation. In addition, there are four realm types which will be the very first decision you will have to make before playing World of Warcraft. Your reward is money and reputation which will increase your skill and power. A good place to start is our Best WoW Levelling Guides to help you through this mystical world.

There are ten races you can choose from: Dwarves, Gnomes, Humans, Night Elves, Draenei, Orcs, Tauren, Trolls, Undead and Blood Elves and multiple professions you can have: Alchemy, Black smithing, Cooking, Enchanting, Engineering, First Aid Fishing, Herbalism, Leatherworking, Mining, Skinning, Tailoring, Jewelcrafting, and Inscription. (Note: Within the Rogue class there are two unique secondary professions: Lock Picking and Poisons).

Within the game itself there are two “modes” of character:

  • Characters controlled by real people
  • Non-Player Characters (which are controlled by the games’ software)

So you can find yourself playing a “real” person as well as the games created opponent.
Your character can earn copper, silver or gold to fund your adventures. In addition you will need to work on the different skills for your character.

There are a whole host of guides around and all do pretty much what they claim but some do it better by having additional features such as forums and members areas which help you level your character from 1-70 more easily. Many also have detailed gold guides and the latest up to date information on, for example, Wrath of the Lich King which takes you up to level 80! However, with that said, players are more than free to progress at their own pace and pit their skills against multiple on-line opponents.

World of Warcraft is the 4th game in the series and is now played by over 11 million people world wide! It is set a few years after Warcraft 3 on the fantastical world of Azeroth.

The Horde and Alliance are opposing races locked in a struggle for control of the land – and both are itching for a showdown. Horde and Alliance players can battle each other, but they cannot interact, trade or even talk to each other. So if you have friends you would like to play with, make sure you belong to the same factions!
